Noted Down is a Markdown editor and note keeper boasting live preview, searches, linking of notes, and multiple file support. It is designed to hold all the notes you need in your pocket and being markdown you can just type and not worry about the formatting. The extended version of markdown in Noted Down gives you all the normal markdown stuff as well as supports for tables, code highlighting, table of contents generation and checklists as well as functions to further automate your notes. It includes local help files so you can work while offline. Although input is via simple text, a context menu can help you to insert and update in markdown and a suggestions list is at hand to help with linking and using functions. Comprehensive search and replace (including regex) is also available for each note. Editing other text files is also supported and you can use Apple’s editing tools for PDF’s and Images while in the app. Notes and files can be organised and contents searched for within the app and even edited from your computer as Noted Down will act as a web server for all your files. This app is add supported, but designed so that ads will be of minimal impact to your work flow.
